and thank you for visiting, we hope you will
enjoy the site and catch the vision we have for the people living in the
villages and the tribal families of rural Milne Bay Province in Papua New Guinea and
beyond.
We are currently sailing the Schooner Soteria to Papua New Guinea, she will be an integral part of the mission and initially the mission base.
Back in 1978 Guy Willson ran a coconut plantation and had a personal experience of Jesus Christ which gave him a total refocus of his life. Since then, by God's grace, we have won a place of fellowship and trust with the people.
Today, very few people are willing to live among the villagers to bring God's word in practice and
teaching. These precious people are initially enthusiastic to receive the Gospel
but like most people, they will not allow people to speak into their lives until
they have won that place by love.
We believe that resident missionaries are needed but in a training capacity to
enable villagers to develop their own
relationship with God.
On this basis we want to assist them in establishing industry to
provide for themselves, and expand their faith through the planting of churches.
Papua New Guinea is surrounded by islands and we see the use of small boats as
an integral part of His work there. God has provided us with 'Soteria', a
62ft Gaff Schooner which we will use as a support and training vessel for the
mission. We are departing from the south of Spain at the beginning
of March 08 for the long trip to Papua New Guinea. Regular updates will be
on the blog so you can follow our progress over the next six months or so,
fulfilling the call that God gave Guy 25 years ago.
